Basket Weaving Workshop

Ronnie Chameau will be holding a one day work shop

Participants will be able to take home a square basket similar to the one shown.

Yes, it would make a wonderful Easter gift, but a basket like this has many other uses.
Flowers arrangements, fruit holder, or a dramatic center piece.

The basket is made of palmetto leaves and will open the door to other ideas.  This is a dying art.   Be a part of this workshop if only to keep a part of Bermuda's heritage alive.

The workshop is small so that everyone can get the personal attention needed (8 persons)
book early.

Saturday   April 9
Bermuda Arts Centre

10:30am - 2pm

Price  $25.00

 "Over the Edge"

(The Astwood Room  April 3 - May 4)

A transition between in-shore and off-shore and  a healthy ocean and a sick one ....have we pushed the oceans of the world too far for them to recover? Are we all sliding "over the edge"?

"As a person I am not much moved by a grand gesture or the latest block buster movie or book, but I find myself entranced by the utter perfection of one leaf laying across another in a green harmony.   A rock pool with its myriad of tiny creatures going about their busness will keep me enertained for hours.  When I garden I am just as likely to give pride of place to a weed because the shape of its leaf is so perfect.

As an artist, I try to capture the details of the life that so captures me. "  ~   Lynn Morrell
