Hello All, Happy Thursday!
Well another week of bluster, wind and rain, so no painting done, but a great location to see if we can come back again.. I note the frustration with the house directions, I will do my best to ensure a full set of notes ..and or a map where possible. Any one giving me location suggestion.. Please help with directions..many thanks
I have attached a few fun snaps of the location from last week and house reference to this weeks site...and a big thank you to Chris and Marlene for the coffee break and yummy muffins in between the rain squalls.

FEBRUARY

19:
Woodside: DEVONSHIRE, 9:30am  A lovely old Bermuda Homes stead, with farm lands, gardens, moon gates and sleepy views of old Bermuda. Middle road in Devonshire, near ZBM studios. If coming from Smiths parish, stay on middle road, past post office and just over that hill, turn to the left , you will see the driveway. House has a lovely veranda and welcome stairs.  If coming from town,  just past ZBM, the turn will be on the right. A two story house with lovely balcony,  lots of grounds.

26
: Flatt’s Bridge and Dock, SMITHS:  :30am  session  I know this has been done before, but this location is always a challenge and you can look at this from the Flatt’s village side or on the aquarium side. Meet under the palms for the critic.

(Oil Painting 2 day Work shop: Dockyard Art Center  :)

March:
4. Par la Ville park or Cityscapes: PEMBROKE lets go central!. 9;30 am this pretty party is in full bloom and is well planted and has some nice water features, or step into the urban sprawl and fine the location that show the city at its best with large shapes and shadows . Critic will take place under the library veranda

11.
Shark Hole Park, HAMILTON PARISH : 9:15 session. The last we time we tried this it was raining..again.. So third time lucky? This quiet rest stop has long views over Harrington sound and its islands, rock formations and views back to Paynters hill. Drive along Harrington sound road, just past the post office, turn on the left if coming from Town. If not just over the hill is the rolling golf course, so perhaps some inspiration there

18.
St George’s: it time we did a trip to the east end.. The whole area is a treat to paint, from Tobacco bay, old  on up into the centre.. So find your best  spot.. And meet back at Emma’s delightful studio for the round up at 12..

25.
Hermitage : SOMERSET 9:15 session: Old Bermuda Orange farm house on left or south shore road, ( hog bay stretch)  just before Wreck road John and Karen Mayor, Farm lands, lovely classic Bermudian ( house is just opp. Shrewsbury on the right)  TBC
