Molly Critchley

Molly has been exhibiting with the Bermuda Society of Arts since 1972. Before that she had exhibited across Canada, after graduating from Mount Allison University with a degree in Fine Arts.

The rhythm of life, and living things, has been the theme of her work since she began painting at a very young age.

She works in the realm of Realism, but with the underlying movement of air, sea and sky. In recent work, the artist interprets deep feelings for the island, which surface in a spiritual way.

Having traveled over the years with her husband, she has been influenced by the Italian School of the Thirteenth Century, as well as Fra Angelico and Botticelli.
